We are looking for parent volunteers to lead our Launch Into Literature Program for our 1st and 2nd grade students. This would entail reading a story and working with the students on an activity and writing piece. There will be four sessions. Our students are excited to be participating in the Jump Rope for Heart Program to raise money for the American Heart Association. Our primary students (preschool-grade 2) are so excited to have their grandparents come to school on January 30th for a special morning of songs and activities. Grandparents Day, which is also the 100th day of school, is a fun celebration and opportunity for grandparents to learn about all of the great things their grandchildren are learning in school, hear some special songs being sung, and visit the classroom. The Rosemont School Benefit Club purchased the physical education department brand new Polar Heart Rate Monitors to use during class.
