I work with and support an amazing group of English Language Learners, or ELLs, in a variety of academic settings, from preschool through 8th grade. ELLs are students whose first language is not English. These students are building their proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English. Each student has a unique background and set of skills on which to build. Our bilingual and trilingual students share a wealth of experiences and knowledge from which we all benefit.
