Congratulations 6th Grade Students

Social Studies Fair Projects were Outstanding

Congratulations to James Traficanti for receiving Best in Show on his Social Studies project on the Sequoia National Park, and Michael O'Neill for being awarded Outstanding First Place for his poster board and model on the Bandlands National Park.  Each 6th grade student was assigned a United States National Park and was responsible for doing research and creating a poster board and model of their park. Our Future Generation Inventors!

7th Grade Science Fair Inventions Were Very Creative

Congratulations to our Science Fair Best in Show winner Cynthia Gonzalez on her Rain Blocker invention, and Brooke Karas on her Sweet Paint invention.  This year all 7th grade students participated in the Invention Convention program where they had to decide on an invention, conduct research, and prepare a poster board and create their invention.  Great job by all!

Computer Club

A group of junior high students are volunteering their time doing community service for our senior citizens of Rosemont.  On Mondays, when school is in session, Mrs. Cline, 5th grade teacher, and Mr. Anderson, principal, accompany the students after school from 3:15-4:30pm to the Rosemont Senior Center to work with the seniors helping them to become more literate in technology.
